WADI AL-JIN DOES IT REALLY EXIST?
Wadi al- Jin is also known as Wadi Al-Baida, a mysterious valley or Wadi that is situated in Madinah, some called it Ghost Road as cars move here own their own without drivers touching. It is located 30 km northwest of Madinah and considers Natural Park among dwellers of Madina they came here and erect tents especially at the weekends. First of all let’s describe the meaning of Wadi Al-Jin, wadi means valley while the closest word found near Jin is Genie. Genie or Jins are supernatural paranormal entity or a creature that is made up of fire.
There is complete Surah in Quran named Al-Jin. Jins really exist as Allah SWT mentioned in Surah Kahf that Azazel or Iblis was Jin. In Surah Rehman the bride of Quran He SWT said:
“He created man from clay like pottery, And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire so, which of the favors of your Lord would you deny?”
Proof of existence of Jins (Genies):
Hazrat Dawood R.A reported from Amir who said: I asked Alqamah if Ibn Masood were present with Allah’s Messenger PBUH on the night of the Jinn. He said: No, but we were in the company of the Prophet SAW one night and we lost him. We rifled for him in the valleys and the hills and said: He has either been taken away by Jinn or has been clandestinely murdered. He the narrator said: We spent the wickedest night that people could ever spend. When it was dawning we saw him coming from the side of Cave Hira. He the narrator reported: We said: Allah’s Messenger PBUH we missed you and searched for you but we could not find you and we spent the wickedest night that people could ever spend. He SAW said: There came to me requester on behalf of the Jinn and I went with him and recited the Quran to them. He the narrator said: He then went with him and indicated us their trails and the smidgens of their cinders. They, the Jinn asked Him PBUH about their endowment and he said: Every bone on which the name of Allah is recited is your provision. The time it falls in your hand it shall be covered with epithelium, and the excrement of the camels, is food for your animals. The Messenger of Allah said: Don’t perform istinja with these for these are the food of your brothers (Jinn)”. In The Holy Quran Allah Almighty said:
“And before Suleiman was marshaled, his swarms of Jins, men birds and they were all kept in edict and statuses”.
With this Quranic verse and Hadith we clearly proof that Holy Prophet met with Jins and recite Quran for them. Another famous incident give proof of Jins that once Prophet PBUH was reciting the Quran in mosque and the group of Jins was passing by, they stop and came to listen the recitation from that moment that mosque named Masjid e Jin. Now we clearly understand that Jins exist in our world.
Does Wadi Al Jin really exist?
Now we know that Jins really exist but the question arises that do Jins really exist in the valley near Madinah. Madinah is second most sacred place for Muslims after Makkah. There are number of rumors or stories about the valley that when cars reach to the valley they turned off or were in neutral automatically, sometimes cars start moving towards Madina and some also said the cars gain incredible fast speed up to 120 km per hour within few minutes. The other story that is very famous and reported that if water was poured on the ground it would go uphill instead of coming downhill. This story is totally against the physic of law and those who only believe in logic and scientific proof they have to visit this valley to see this miracle of my Lord through their eyes. This valley has great love and devotion for Prophet PBUH. Once Allah’s Messenger SAW was passing by this valley and one Yahudi asked him to show him a Miracle. He SAW asked the Yahoudi what miracle he wants to see? The Yahoudi pointed towards a Tree and said call that tree towards you if you are a Prophet the Tree would heed to you and would submit your orders. Prophet PBUH just saw the Tree and it started rambling towards Him PBUH and the Yahoudi instantaneously accepted Islam.
Hazrat Ayesha R.A reported that Allah’s Messenger PBUH said:
“A military will assault the Kabah and when the intruders will reach Al Baida (Wadi Jin) all the ground will sink and gulp the whole army. I said “O Allah’s Messenger PBUH! How thy sink into the ground while among them will be their markets and the people not belonging to them? The Prophet SAW replied: all of those people will sink but thy will be resuscitated and arbitrated according to their intentions”.
With all these Hadith and Verses from Quran we can proved that Wadi Al-Jin is really exist as Allah proved the existence of Jins in Quran then what is the reason to question for believers. This valley is valley of miracle and Prophet SAW showed His SAW miracle to Yahudi in this Wadi. Some scientist said that the cars are moved and speed up here due to extreme gravity coming from hills. This may be true but as a Muslim we believe that it is surely possible that in this Wadi Jins exist, that is why it is called Wadi Al-Jin.
